Lynette, licensed therapist at Resilience Rising in Chicago

lynette (she/her)

My deepest intention as a therapist is to create a space that feels genuinely yours — one where you can arrive exactly as you are and feel truly heard, seen, and understood. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is where healing actually happens — and when that relationship feels safe and authentic, that's where transformation becomes possible. My path to this work runs deep — rooted in my Ecuadorian heritage, the resilience of navigating life as a first-generation college student, and — true to my Pisces moon — a lifelong, intuitive empathy that I bring into every session.

My approach is integrative — I don't believe one size fits all. I draw from a range of tools and tailor the work to what you need. The pain we carry can be shaped by the world around us, pressures we've absorbed, and weight passed down through generations. Here, we name it, understand it, and reclaim your story.

I specialize in working with BIPOC adults and young adults navigating life transitions, identity, self-esteem, confidence, anxiety, and intergenerational trauma. If you've ever felt like you had to shrink yourself or carry too much alone — this is a space where that changes. When you're ready to take that first step, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
