lynette (she/her)
From a young age, I have held a profound desire to help others, shaped by a variety of my life experiences. These include my ancestral roots from Ecuador, the safe spaces provided by my community and family, my journey as a first-generation college student, and even the traits of my Pisces moon. With this intention, my goal as a therapist is to collaboratively create a space uniquely tailored to you—one where you can feel heard, seen, supported, and understood. I operate from a relationally centered framework, believing that the therapeutic relationship is essential for fostering deep healing and transformation. I am committed to cultivating an environment not to fix, but to empower and strengthen your ability to connect with, be present to, and love your most authentic self.
My approach is informed by liberation and decolonial principles, as I believe that therapy is inherently political. By acknowledging the systemic barriers and inequalities that impact our mental health, we can foster not only personal growth but also broader social change, enabling us to reclaim our narratives and assert our rights to well-being and self-determination for our minds, bodies, and spirit.
Working with me, you can expect someone who brings curiosity, deep compassion, laughter, creativity, soft challenging and most importantly open ears. Outside of work, you can find me getting lost in a used bookstore, at the gym, chatting with my plants, or cozying up with my black cat Sai:)
